Contractors or Visitors

For people who have been contracted to work on or visting the Leeds Arts University, you will not have a user account set-up to access Simple Compliance and therefore do not need to reset your password.

Locked accounts

If you have locked your account, by trying too many incorrect passwords, please email support@simplecompliance.co.uk and we will unlock your account.

Simple Compliance requires a modern, standards compliant browser. We would recommend using the latest versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Mobile versions of these browsers also work with our system.


Enabling Javascript

The system uses Javascript and so this must be enabled in your browser. Below are some hints on how to achieve this, however we also recommend you review and follow the instructions provided by your browser:

  1. Microsoft Internet Explorer
  2. Mozilla Firefox
  3. Apple Safari
  4. Google Chrome

Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings.


Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Select Internet Options from the browser's Tools menu.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
  4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
  5. Under Active Scripting, choose Enable.
  6. Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.

Firefox

  1. Select Options from the browser's Preferences menu.
  2. Click the Content tab (with the "globe" icon).
  3. Make sure the box next to Enable JavaScript is checked.

Safari

  1. Select Preference from the browser's menu.
  2. Click the Security tab (with the "lock" icon).
  3. Make sure the box next to JavaScript is checked.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the menu icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click the Show advanced settings... link.
  4. Click Content Settings in the 'Privacy section.'
  5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript in the 'JavaScript' section.
